Internationally recognised underwater photographers Allan & Kimberley Payard are adventure divers and explorers who have lived and worked professionally on the Great Barrier Reef for nearly two decades. Based on years of observation above and below the water, their images share a unique view of Australia's World Heritage listed reefs, from the natural beauty and splendour of this living structure to the scientific documentation of its more unusual inhabitants.
Allan & Kimberley's explorations have taken them along the entire length of the Great Barrier Reef, encompassing the seldom visited Far Northern Reefs which begin at the tip of Australia, right down to the Swains at the Southern end and far beyond to the outer reaches of the Coral Sea. Published in books and magazines around the world, their images capture the beauty and wonder of the world's largest living organism, the Great Barrier Reef.

Great Barrier Reef Enterprises (GBRE) was established in 1997 as a continuum to sharing our aspect of the reef, so that we can all gain a greater understanding of the fascinating world that lies beneath the sea. As we begin to understand nature, a new appreciation for our planet develops and we find within ourselves a vision of how each and every one of us can play a part in making the Earth a more wholesome and safe place for all Her inhabitants. It is up to us, for while humanity is our planet's biggest threat, we are also Her only hope. It is by holding this vision of possibility that our potentials will unfold and we will effectively make the difference to ensure our oceans and all our natural realms survive the next millennium and beyond.
It is the intention of GBRE to provide high quality images, products and service that will promote the welfare of the world's natural realms through greater awareness of the sea.
